Kathleen received her Bachelor of Arts from Judson College in Elgin, IL.
Being a lifetime McHenry resident, Kathleen worked with Shirley Harms as a tax preparer and office assistant part time before she joined the company full time in 1992. She worked at Kemper Insurance as a tax accountant for several years prior to coming to Harms Accounting. Kathleen has been an Enrolled Agent (enabling her to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service) since 1993 and a Certified Public Accountant since 2000. She maintains an average of fifty hours of continued professional education each year including the Interal Revenue Service Tax Forum and the University of Illinois Income Tax Update Seminar.

Trinette received her Bachelor of Science at Columbia College in
Trinette grew up in McHenry and has been with Harms Accounting & Tax Service since 1995. She began as an office assistant and moved on to become an accountant and tax preparer. Trinette became an Enrolled Agent (enabling her to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service) in 2005. She also attends the Internal Revenue Service Tax Forum and the Univeristy of Illinois Tax Update every year.
